PIP Crash With Serious Injuries Causes Hours-Long Delays

There were hour-long delays after a serious crash with injuries on the Palisades Interstate Parkway that blocked the left lane on Friday.

The northbound incident occurred between Exit 12 (Route 45) and Exit 13 (ROute 202).

There was stopped traffic at the scene of the crash and gridlock stretching back to Exit 10 (Middletown Road) at 5:45 p.m.

The lane reopened around 7:30 p.m.
